July 2011 Letter

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,

the people He chose for His inheritance.” Psalm 33:12

You see the American flag flying high, fireworks in the distance, and parades marching down Main Street in many towns around the United States. You hear people pledge their allegiance to “one nation under God” and use coins stamped with the nation’s motto, “In God We Trust.”

On July 4th you celebrate Independence Day and the many freedoms you enjoy as an American. Unlike the people in China, Russia, and Egypt who are persecuted daily for being Christians, you have the freedom to read the bible, attend any church of your choice, and listen to God’s word.

Yesterday evening when I turned on the radio, I heard these words from one of the ministers, “Everything is going to be alright when you wake up in the morning.” What a comfort to have God’s reminder in word spoken just for me.

Thanks for being the vessel through which God can share His message. ~Joe

Without the freedom to listen to God’s word, Joe might have never heard the reassurance from God that everything was going to be alright. As you celebrate this holiday weekend and the rest of 2011, remember the blessing you have in a country that allows God to use KSWP & KAVX to be His vessels to speak to people in need.

Your involvement in this ministry helped Joe in his time of need. Thank you by providing your monthly or individual gift which helps people like Joe to hear God’s spoken word.

In God I Trust,

Al Ross,
Vice President & General Manager,
