I attend church in DeRidder, La, and my church is sending out a prayer request for a family over there that is in DESPERATE need of GOD! They have lost their home and 4 of their 5 children to this fire! The mom and only surviving child, which is a 3 year old boy, are in ICU with severe burns. The father was in Texas working so he is not burned. I truly don't know how/what to pray for such a tragic loss as this! I just know to cry out to the ONE who CAN offer some kind of love, peace and hope in a horrific time as this. I just ask that yall would please, please cry out to the Father for this precious family!!! Thank you! And God Bless!!!

I am a full-time student attending SFASU, who also happens to be a single mom to three and 41. God has sent me on this great journey of faith to become a nurse after all of these years, but for every victory He gives me, another obstacle is placed in my path.
I found out this month that I will not have the financial aid to continue to live on campus. I had made arrangements to move in with a friend and her family for the summer until I could get some answers on where I would live. They were supposed to close on their home on May 17th, and I would move in the week after. Her husband has since lost his job and the home loan is not likely to go through at this point. I have a little over a week to find a place to live and no money.
Several prayer requests: trust that God has a plan and wait patiently, my item worth several thousand dollars will sell on ebay so I will have money to put a deposit on a small, cheap apartment somewhere in Nacogdoches, and peace of mind that God is in control and is not going to abandon me in the middle of the journey toward my degree in nursing. I feel very alone right now and nervous about the future.

I believe in a "True & Mighty God". I know he sees & hears all things. He knows my heart & my needs. I have several unspoken prayer requests....also my 19 year old son "Weston" will be moving for the first time on May 8th...9.5 hours away. Please pray that God will guide him on his journey & that Weston will stay focused on Christ. I thank God for KSWP & that WE can observe "National Day of Prayer"!

My wife left me in June 2006, I was unable to see my kids very much in 18 months. I broke my back in 2003 which lead to our breakup I believe. We got remarried in Dec 2007, sadly it didn't last, she left me once again in Aug 2009, this time she looked up an old boyfriend. That didn't last either. I moved to Nacogdoches to be closer to them. Like last time I have not seen much of my kids, seems the courts are very unwilling to help fathers. I pray for my marriage to work, for my kids to grow up in a godly home, I pray for my wife, I pray for myself, my health and job situation. I pray these things in Jesus name.

My precious son 33yr old son was so close to the Lord for about 10-13 yrs.brought people to Christ, while in the USA and while in Iraq, about 8months or so he fell out of grace and starting haveing an affair after being married for 10yrs. His wife is shaken up hurt but has faith in the Lord that my son will come around before it is too late. Please pray for them and us we are hurting so for both of them.
