As the Advent season approaches, we are reminded of Christ's becoming flesh and dwelling among us, and
we at KSWP/KAVX Ministries are overwhelmed with the abundance of blessings we have received
through God's grace. We are blessed with extraordinary listeners, volunteers, board and staff. The largest
group of individuals and families in recent memory is listening online and on the FM dial at 90.9 FM or
91.9 FM.
You join them as God moves more lives to enter a personal walk with God.

Love!"
The impact this ministry makes on families and individuals can not be counted in this time, only at the
return of Christ.
The KSWP/KAVX Ministry's very existence depends on your faithful support. We depend on your prayers
and your financial contributions. For your support, in this and all seasons, we give thanks to God.
Year End Giving Makes a Difference
Your charitable gifts make an important difference in what we are able to accomplish. Our
mission continues, "Linking people to God, Serving each other for life, offering Hope, Joy and Love."
Year-end tax planning is of crucial importance for 2008. Most taxpayers should accelerate deductions
into 2008, while (to the extent feasible) deferring income until 2009. Check with your accountant for the
details and whether it is appropriate for your particular situation. If it is, we'd be glad to discuss the
additional benefits of the charitable deduction.
As you consider your year-end tax planning, we hope you will consider making good use of the income tax
charitable deduction. Your 2008 year-end gift can significantly reduce your income taxes, while providing
meaningful support for KSWP/KAVX ministries. The charitable gifts you make now could leave you
much better off come April 15, 2009. The amount of the income tax savings will depend on your tax
bracket.
EXAMPLE: If you are in a 33% income tax bracket in 2008, and you itemize your deductions, a
$1,000 gift to us by December 31 will save you $330 in 2008 taxes.

Planned Gifts: Trends in philanthropy show that more and more givers are opting to give planned gifts
to non-profit charities they support. Through planned gifts, donors arrange future gifts to an
organization.
Here are some examples:
Gifts by Will (Bequests): Gifts associated with a will and the final distribution of an estate
offer a great deal of potential. A bequest or gift by will, is an attractive option when a donor is
currently unable to make an outright gift, but wishes to make a meaningful contribution to
KSWP/KAVX. A specific bequest involves donating a set amount or percentage of assets from an
estate. Residual bequests are left after all debts, expenses, and taxes have been paid from an
estate.
Annuities: A gift annuity supports both you and us. It is a practical plan that supports your
living needs by providing you with a regular return on your gift to the ministries of KSWP/KAVX.
Trusts: A trust is similar to an annuity in that it provides you with a regular return on your gift to
our ministries. There are multiple variations of trusts, and we will be happy to meet with you to
help you understand your options. A trust can be established with a minimum gift of $50,000.
Life Insurance: You can purchase a life insurance policy in which you name KSWP/KAVX
Educational Foundation as the owner of the policy in support of our ministry. Premiums on this
type of policy are tax deductible.
