Now Acceptings Emergency Farm Loans
Jun 13 all-day

The Nacogdoches and Polk County Farm Service Agency offices
are now accepting emergency farm loan applications
for damages and losses caused by drought, that occurred March 19, 2013 and continuing.

The deadline for applications is January 15, 2014
Waiting too long will cause a backlog  and cause delays.

Generally, farmers who have lost 30 percent of their production
are eligible for the emergency loans.

Bats, gloves, helmets, cleats, balls, pants, belts, socks, hats, etc. Drop your items in the collection boxes located at Lufkin Parks and Recreation office downtown, Morris Frank Park youth baseball field-concession stand, or Dermatology of East Texas-107 Christie. Performance is Saturday, June 29th.

There is no reason for anyone in Angelina County to be hungry because CISC will give them food. Some people come only once because they had an emergency that took all their food money. Some elderly run out of money because of medicine bills, etc. and need to come more often. CISC is here to help. Additional assistance in other areas of need are given also. The Christian Information and Service Center is open Monday through Friday 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at 501 E. Angelina Street in Lufkin. Anyone that lives in Angelina County can come each week of they need food.
