Helping Military Service Members get Licensed

Beginning May 1, 2014

The Texas Dept. of Licensing and Regulation recently updated its licensing procedures
to help military service members and veterans become licensed to work in Texas
using their military service, training, and education.
The procedure also helps military spouses become licensed to work in Texas.

TDLR will issue any master electrician and journeyman electrician applicant
a temporary license, license by endorsement, or license by reciprocity
if the applicant holds a substantially equivalent similar license issued in or by another state.
